Karl joined the Tracs Systems business IT team a while ago.
As a System Engineer he supports our customers in their IT adventure.

Why did you choose Tracs Systems?

I had already come into contact with a few colleagues at Tracs Systems in the past, and from those contacts it became clear that there was a professional yet pleasant and enthusiastic working atmosphere.
From the first exploratory job interview, it soon became clear that a no-nonsense mentality is being practised and that the management knows what they are talking about and is aware of the technical side of the work, which makes communication very easy.
I also immediately had the feeling that I was working for a solid company that has been professionally developed for many years and where agreements can be made correctly.
Before I started, I was allowed to go on a teambuilding trip. There, my colleagues all turned out to be great guys who were immediately enthusiastic to explain things to me.

How's your day looking?

Right from the start, I was allowed to work for various customers to carry out a very diverse range of tasks. It concerns very diverse matters: sometimes the small help desk, but also installing servers, migrating mail servers, installing VMware, setting up disaster recovery sites with veeam, etc.

Of course, communication with the customer is of great importance and you will also come into contact with all levels of the customer.

Since I am a supporter of customer KRC Genk, it is also nice to be of service during the match every now and then so that I can combine the useful with the pleasant.

What makes working at Tracs Systems so enjoyable?

From the very beginning, you will be given many opportunities and responsibilities, so you will quickly be included in the team.
If you need help, your colleagues are always ready to assist you.

There is a direct weekly follow-up of the status of all your cases, whereby you are supported if you get stuck. This also gives the management a clear picture of what you are doing and the workload is correctly estimated.
Positive feedback is also given, which always has a motivating effect.

Outside work, there are also activities to keep in contact with colleagues: dinner, Easter egg hunts with the children, airsoft, etc.. And my personal favourite: in the afternoon, we sometimes get together to eat something (healthy or not).
